One API
Phone calls, speech-to-text, AI voices, and LLM turns share one interface. The app does not integrate each vendor on its own.
Early access
VoxVane is one API for phone calls, speech-to-text, AI voices, and LLM turns. For each request, a router picks a vendor by cost, quality, and uptime, fails over if that vendor drops, and keeps a cost for the call.
Your app talks only to VoxVane. The router points each request toward a vendor. Vox is voice. The vane is the part that points.
01
Sends one request. It does not choose a vendor.
02
Weighs the vendors and points the request.
03
Whoever can carry that part of the call.
If the chosen vendor fails, the router tries another and writes the cost of the route to the ledger.
Routing, failover, and a cost ledger are the early-access work. Local open-source models are a later path on the same API.
Phone calls, speech-to-text, AI voices, and LLM turns share one interface. The app does not integrate each vendor on its own.
For each request, the router weighs cost, quality, and uptime, then points the call at a vendor.
When a vendor fails, the router moves the request to another one. The app keeps a single call.
Each call keeps a cost record tied to the route that served it.
The same API is meant to run open-source models on your own machines, beside hosted vendors. That path is not in this first version.
Built for developers
Early access is for people building on the API. The sample is the shape we are working toward, not a package you can install today.
// Illustrative — not a stable contract.
const call = await voxvane.calls.create({
to: "+14155550100",
agent: {
speechToText: "auto",
voice: "auto",
llm: "auto",
},
route: {
prefer: ["quality", "cost", "uptime"],
failover: true,
ledger: true,
},
});
Illustrative only. Names, fields, and defaults can change during early access. There is no published package yet.
Early access
VoxVane is not generally available. There is no public price list, no uptime figure, and no certification to claim. Local open-source models are planned, not part of this first version. If you are building an app that needs phone and voice in one place, write and tell us what you are making.
